  • Advising the Chevron Corporation on legal matters related to its gas-exploration activities in Bulgaria.
  • Assisting OMV with the development of a network of over 70 petrol stations in Bulgaria, and with its acquisition of national petrol retailer Petrol AD.
  • Advising JBG Power GmbH, the German subsidiary of a Japanese liquid natural gas and biofuel stations developer, on its potential investment in the development of a facility for liquefaction of natural gas in Bulgaria, as well as advising on real estate matters and on the general legal framework for the development of liquid natural gas facilities.
  • Advising Lukoil Europe Holding B.V. on corporate matters in Bulgaria.
  • Advising Merrill Lynch on the regulatory regime applicable to the trading of electricity and oil & gas in Bulgaria.
  • Helping NIS Petrol develop and implement an aggressive strategy for organic growth, including both greenfield and brownfield development of a nation-wide network of petrol stations and storage bases.
  • Advising Vitol on gas and capacity sales and on purchase and gas-transportation agreements.
  • Representing Avia International in its opposition to a competitor’s attempt to register the same trademark in Bulgaria. 
  • Advising Chevron on its potential involvement in the Bourgas-Alexandroupolis oil-pipeline project.
  • Advising Schlumberger on the licensing processes required for the use of hazardous material in the oil & gas industry.
  • Advising Singaporean wholesaler Petro Singapore Trading PTE LTD on the regulatory requirements for the trade or distribution of oil products in Bulgaria, including on applicable licensing and tax regimes and customs-bonded warehouses.
  • Assisting Solar Turbines Europe with its preparation for and participation in a tender for maintenance and spare-parts supply for Bulgartransgaz’s gas-compression stations.
  • Advising HERA on Bulgarian law aspects of its proposed merger with AMGA, and in particular on energy-law matters relevant to the Bulgarian subsidiaries of the two entities.
