The law firm of Djingov, Gouginski, Kyutchukov & Velichkov has been involved as a legal counsel in the South Stream Pipeline bench-mark energy project - one of the largest pipeline projects in the world, involving the financing, construction, and operation of a pipeline to transport gas from Russia’s Black Sea coast to Western European markets.
The law firm of Djingov, Gouginski, Kyutchukov & Velichkov is a member of a consortium of pre-eminent law firms in Europe, lead by Hogan & Hartson, which has been appointed to advise Gazprom. Besides Djingov, Gouginski, Kyutchukov & Velichkov in Bulgaria, the consortium involves: Wolf Theiss & Partners in Austria, Hungary, and Serbia, Elias Paraskevas Attorneys in Greece, and Bonelli Erede Pappalardo in Italy. The member law firms will be providing advice to Gazprom on all local law aspects in the transit countries for the pipeline.
