Recent matters DGKV’s Transport team has worked on include:

• Advising ERG Insaat Ticaret ve Sanayi AS, SSB Sauerwein & Schaefer Bau AG, and Copenhagen Airports on their joint bid for the Sofia Airport concession (which had an approximately EUR 3.898 billion indicative project budget).
• Advising EBRD on financing for the Sofia Water Concession.
• Assisting Alstom Transport with its participation in a EUR 100 million tender for the rehabilitation of the signaling and telecom systems of the Bulgarian Railway Infrastructure.
• Providing ongoing advice to International Air Transport Association on various corporate, compliance, and financial matters.
• Advising Chariot Motors AD and Consortium Chariot Motors / Higer Bus Company Limited on matters related to their participation in numerous domestic and international public procurement tenders for the supply of electric buses, including their successful bid for the supply of electric buses to the capital city of Sofia.
• Advising Northrup Grumman Corporation on matters related to its participation in the Bulgarian Air Traffic Services Authority’s public tender for the development and modernization of BULATSA’s ground-based equipment for the provision of air-ground radio communications.
• Advising MVM Ovit Zrt on the legal aspects of its participation in a tender for the state-owned Bulgarian Railway Company.
• Advising Belfry in connection with its participation as a subcontractor in a public procurement tender held by the State Enterprise National Company Railway Infrastructure to upgrade the Kostenec–Septemvri railway section.
• Advising Chevron on its potential involvement in the Bourgas-Alexandroupolis oil pipeline project.
• Advising sponsor Ceylan Holding on matters related to the implementation of one of the largest infrastructure projects in Bulgaria, namely the construction of Maritsa Highway.
• Advising Copenhagen Airports on its participation in the tender for the  Varna and Bourgas Airport concessions.
• Advising Construcciones y Auxiliar de Ferrocarriles, S.A. on matters related to its participation in a tender for the supply of rolling stock to Metropoliten AD (Municipality of Sofia).
• Advising Edison (controlled by EDF as one of the sponsors of the offshore part of the South Stream gas pipeline project) on the permitting process.
• Advising Nabucco Gas Pipeline International on various regulatory and property law issues.
• Advising Anglian Water on its sponsoring of a water-system concession.
• Advising Dexia Kommunal Kredit Bank on financing for the Sofia water-system concession.
• Advising Rolls-Royce Power Ventures on its joint venture with Sofia’s central heating company Toplofikacia for the construction and operation of a power co-generating facility.
• Advising a consortium of Portuguese companies on concession issues related to the construction and exploitation of Trakia Highway.
• Advising Penta Ocean/Mitsubishi Joint Venture on the Port Bourgas expansion project.
• Providing ongoing legal advice and litigation services to Türkiye Hava Yolları (Turkish Airlines).
• Advising Northrop Grumman Corporation on its participation in the Bulgarian Air Traffic Services Authority’s public tender for the development and modernization of BULATSA’s ground-based equipment for provision of air-ground radio communications.
