About the position
In support of our dynamic tax law practice and ever-growing clientele, we are actively looking for an experienced Tax Lawyer to join our innovative and motivated team.
This is an exciting opportunity for lawyers with some 2-3 years of focused post-qualification experience in Bulgarian tax law to elevate their careers within a supportive yet forward-thinking environment.
Experience also in customs law would be considered an advantage.
Attention to detail, analytical thinking, efficient task management are the starters for the role, to be combined with dedicated meeting of deadlines, adhering to newest statutory developments and to court-established precedents, supported by in-depth research skills, computer proficiency and ability to work on multiple projects concurrently. This role could operate within a high-demand and fast-paced environment of clients’ needs, but the legal complexities of ever-occurring issues should be balanced with practical and client-focused solutions.
Excellent legal English is a must.
Expected qualifications and experience
- excellent legal education with a degree of Bulgarian law,
- 2 – 3 years professional experience,
- effective communication skills,
- proficient legal English.

About the role
In order to support our eminent Public Procurement and EU Funding and Public Law and Legal Advocacy practices and ever-growing clientele, we are actively recruiting for an experienced Public Procurement Law attorney to join our innovative and motivated team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for lawyers with some 2-3 years of focused post-qualification experience in Bulgarian Public Law (Administrative Law, Public Procurement and Concessions, Defence and Dual-use Items, Transport and Infrastructure) and public procurement and administrative procedure to elevate their careers within a supportive yet forward-thinking environment.
This role will entail counselling clients on a variety of public procurement, concessions, EU Funding and public law matters in different sectors of economy, both private entities and state or municipal authorities. Our associate will advise variety of private companies, state or municipal authorities on public law issues, represent in variety of public procurement, concessions, administrative procedures, administrative litigation, etc.
Efficient file management is of utmost importance, including punctually meeting deadlines, adhering to newest statutory developments and to court-established precedents, therefore, in-depth research skills, computer proficiency and ability to work on multiple projects concurrently are a prerequisite for this role. This role operates within a high-demand and fast-paced environment where you can balance the legal complexities of workplace issues with practical, client-focused solutions.
About you
You must have an in-depth understanding of Bulgarian public procurement, concessions, EU funding and public law and a comprehensive knowledge of the administrative and civil procedure rules is essential.
You will possess exceptional client-handling and negotiation skills, robust verbal and written communication abilities, and a commitment to establishing strong client relationships. You must be proactive in driving matters forward and keeping our clients well-informed of progress via email, telephone, or in-person interactions. You will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail when handling administrative and court submissions, whilst also utilizing strong organizational skills to meet strict deadlines.
