About the role
In order to support our eminent employment law practice and ever-growing clientele, we are actively recruiting for an experienced Employment Lawyer to join our innovative and motivated team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for lawyers with some 3-4 years of focused post-qualification experience in Bulgarian employment law and litigation to elevate their careers within a supportive yet forward-thinking environment.
This role will entail counseling clients on a variety of employment legal matters, both contentious and non-contentious. Our Employment Lawyer will represent employer clients on employment and labor law issues, international mobility matters, HR practices and benefits, anti-discrimination matters, employment litigation, etc.
Efficient file management is of utmost importance, including punctually meeting deadlines, adhering to newest statutory developments and to court-established precedents, therefore, in-depth research skills, computer proficiency and ability to work on multiple projects concurrently are a prerequisite for this role. This role operates within a high-demand and fast-paced environment where you can balance the legal complexities of workplace issues with practical, client-focused solutions.
Excellent legal English is a must.
About you
You will possess strong business acumen and an understanding of the commercial implications of employment law enabling you to offer practical and strategic solutions for managing risks related to dismissals, restructuring, and workplace disputes.
You must have an in-depth understanding of Bulgarian employment legislation and a comprehensive knowledge of the civil procedure rules is essential.
You will possess exceptional client-handling and negotiation skills, robust verbal and written communication abilities, and a commitment to establishing strong client relationships. You must be proactive in driving matters forward and keeping our clients well-informed of progress via email, telephone, or in-person interactions. You will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail when handling settlement agreements, contracts, and court submissions, whilst also utilizing strong organizational skills to meet strict deadlines.

About the position
We are seeking a highly motivated, efficient, and ambitious professional for the position of Business Development and Marketing Manager.
This role involves managing the firm’s brand presence, conducting market research and identifying new business opportunities to enhance client acquisition and retention. The manager will work closely with lawyers and practice heads to develop client-focused strategies, create compelling fee proposals and pitches and oversee digital and content marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic planning of the firm’s business development and marketing activities of the firm towards client acquisition
- Targeted business development and marketing activities
- Cooperation with the law firm partners in the generation of marketing and business development materials
- Develop and maintain presentation materials, including lawyers’ CVs, experience databases, and corporate presentations
- Plan and implement corporate events and other business development activities, maintain internal and external event calendars
- Organize internal client events in coordination with the delegated team
- Manage information flow, correspondence and calls in relation to business development and marketing activities
- Prepare fee proposals, project pitches, capacity statements and presentations with regard to domestic and international requests for proposals
- Monitor the business environment to identify potential clients and opportunities
- Manage the firm’s website and other firm’s media channels
- Foster strong working relationships with colleagues across the firm to help gather news and deliver communications on the firm’s activities
Expected qualifications and experience
- University degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Economics, Business Administration or Law would be considered an advantage
- Extensive experience in business development and marketing, preferably within or for professional services firms
- Fluency in English (legal English will be considered an advantage)
- Excellent writing and verbal communications skills
- MS Office proficiency (experience with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator or Adobe InDesign would be considered an advantage)
- Ability to develop relationships and engage with people at all levels across the business
- Attention to detail and ability to analyse a topic from multiple perspectives (including risks, challenges, and opportunities) to develop effective solutions

- Assist in the implementation and improvement of IT processes that drive organizational efficiency and technological advancement.

- Hands-on experience with Active Directory and Azure Active Directory (EntraID) management.
