Neli Shikova is an Associate at DGKV’s Dispute Resolution practice. She has a strong background in various controversy procedures before both administrative and judicial bodies, with a main stream of work in the field of court representation. She has represented international and local clients in the telecommunications industry, energy sector, healthcare, e-commerce, banking and finance, consumer products and retail, construction services. She has also worked on several referrals for preliminary rulings before the Court of Justice of the European Union ultimately leading to significant changes in the law and common practices. She has been engaged in appeal proceedings before the European Court of Human Rights as well as in supporting clients on infringement procedures before the European Commission. In her legal practice, Neli has participated in legislative policy projects, with a main contribution in the controversy resolutions, as well as in advisory projects, including consulting, planning and optimization for companies operating in different business sectors. In addition to her practical experience, Neli has a strong academic background, being a Summa Cum Laude graduate of the Faculty of Law of the University of National and World Economy and having successfully completed several internships within the judicial system.
