DGKV’s IP team issued a Client Alert on the Extension of time limits related to proceedings before the EUIPO and the Bulgarian Patent Office (BPO) as part of the DGKV COVID-19 series on legislative changes due to the crisis.
The article reviews the time limits related to proceedings before BPO to be suspended for the period of the state of emergency. Also, it contains information on changes for time limits in regard to EUIPO proceedings before the Board of Appeals, imposed by the EU legislation on trade mark and design matters and originating from the Paris Convention and other international treaties.
