Nuclear plant in Kozloduy calls tender for heat generation plant

The nuclear plant in Kozloduy has called a tender for the design and construction of a heat generation plant for steam and hot water, reads a note on the EBRD website. The construction of the heat plant will be financed with part of a grant received from the bank. The new thermal power station will be built in place of the third and fourth units of the nuclear plant which have been phased out. The deadline for filing a tender expires on August 17 and the construction should be completed in no more than 36 months after commissioning the work. The contractor should demonstrate sufficient experience with at least two designed and installed heat plants in the last five years.
