Privatisation agency calls new tender for heating utility in Shumen

The state privatisation agency called a tender for selling the full stake in the heating utility in the northern city of Shumen , a note on the website of the institution reads. The initial price is set at BGN 9.7mn (EUR 4.96mn). Tender documentation may be purchased twenty days after the offer is published in the official journal and the tender will take place fifteen days afterwards. The utility uses natural gas as input. In October, the privatisation agency ceased the sale procedures for the district heating supplier in Shumen as no companies have expressed interest in the tender. Initially two firms purchased tender documents – thermo-power plant Maritsa III and Dalkia Bulgaria -- but none of them applied for certification.
