The privatisation agency announced a public tender for the sale of 100% stake in the heating utility Toplofikatsia-Shumen. The number of shares in the offered package is 9.7mn. The potential buyer should be specialised in production, distribution and supply of electricity and/or in production and transmission of heating. The volume of supplied energy has to be at least 70,000MWh for electricity and 200,000MWh for heating energy for the last three years, for which the investor had audited financial reports. The buyer also should have positive financial results for the last three years. The offshore companies, consortia as well as physical persons, who had overdue liabilities towards the state or towards the companies, in which the state had more than 51% stake, will not be allowed to participate in the public tender. The potential buyers could purchase tender documentation 35 days from the tender announcement in the State Gazette. The information memorandum will be provided for purchase to persons, who have bought tender documentation and fulfilled the special requirements.
