The US army has earmarked a total of USD 45mn to invest in infrastructure and construction projects in its local bases and has published on offer inviting local companies to take part in the projects. The amount should be allocated in three years. The selected companies should project and construct roads and buildings and are to maintain and repair already existing facilities. The projects comprise also the construction of electricity and water-pipeline networks and other necessary infrastructure.
