DGKV has advised Ukrainian professional tennis player Elina Svitolina on the Incorporation of the Elina Svitolina Foundation in Bulgaria

DGKV has advised Ukrainian professional tennis player Elina Svitolina on the incorporation and establishment of the Elina Svitolina Foundation in Bulgaria.

The charitable foundation aims to support the development and promotion of the sport of tennis, educational activities, and assistance to Ukrainian refugees displaced by the Russian Federation’s invasion. According to DGKV, the foundation plans large-scale fundraising and promotion of these activities.

Among the foundation’s current donors is the Bush Tennis Center – which, when completed, will be the largest tennis centre in the world. Prince Albert II of Monaco and other influential individuals are also expected to get involved. Elina Svitolina is also scheduled to visit the Republic of Bulgaria for the purpose of arranging exhibition matches to raise funds.

DGKV advised Elina Svitolina on the incorporation of the foundation with a team comprising partner Angel Ganev and senior associate Krassimir Stephanov. Angel Ganev also became a member of the foundation’s board of trustees.
