Iva Georgieva is an Associate at DGKV’s General Corporate and Intellectual Property Practice groups. She joined DGKV as an associate in 2024. Her previous experience is in commercial and corporate law. She was also part of the Fulbright Internship Program at Sofia Regional and City Courts for two years, where she worked on a variety of civil cases. In 2022 she studied for one semester in Saarland University, Germany, as a participant in the “Erasmus+” EU programme, where she gained knowledge of German and International law.
Recent representative projects include:
- Provides legal advice in relation to the trademark portfolio of Economedia AD.
- Took part in legal due diligence processes regarding corporate and intellectual property matters for OTP Bank Ltd.
- Participates in negotiations and conclusion of agreements regarding protection of the trademark rights of Alternative Investments AD.
- Provided legal advice in relation to the trademark portfolio of Carlsberg.
