Aleksandar Nanov is an Associate in DGKV’s Employment & Mobility practice. He joined the firm in 2025 after gaining substantial employment-law experience as legal counsel at the Municipal Enterprise “Social Patronage,” one of Bulgaria’s largest municipal employers, and in the retail and security sectors. He regularly advised on complex labour-law matters, personnel management, and compliance issues.
Recent representative projects include:
- Contributing to an employment-law training course for the HR division of a leading global biotechnology company (Nasdaq-100, S&P 100, S&P 500), focusing on absence management, work-accident compliance, and best practices in workplace policies.
- Advising a major international clinical research organization on structuring and management of fixed-term employment arrangements in Bulgaria.
- Assisting a global provider of risk-management and asset-protection software and services with the implementation of Bulgarian employment-law requirements as part of its local workforce expansion.
- Advising a major U.S. software company on digitalization of HR processes, including the compliant use of electronic signatures for employment documentation.
