Zdravka Ugrinova is Managing Partner at DGKV, heading the firm’s M&A and General Corporate Practice groups. She joined DGKV as a trainee in 1995. Zdravka is a leading lawyer in Bulgaria, with significant experience and expertise in corporate and commercial law, private equity transactions, acquisitions of private and publicly listed companies, JVs, and concessions. Zdravka has been the lead lawyer advising many of the firm’s major domestic and international clients on some of the largest M&A, private equity, joint venture, privatization, and infrastructure projects ever to originate on the Bulgarian market. She has been involved in a number of high-profile M&A transactions both local and cross-border. Zdravka is recognized and highly praised for her professionalism and profound knowledge of the Bulgarian market by both clients and peers alike.
Recent Projects Include:
- Advising and representing the consortium led by SSB and including ERG Insaat Ticaret ve Sanayi AS and Copenhagen Airports on all legal aspects of its participation in the tender process for the Sofia Airport Concession, which has an approximately EUR 3.9 billion indicative project budget.
- Advising The Rohatyn Group on the local legal aspects of the Pet Network exit and on the local aspects of its acquisition of a leading Bulgarian e-bike manufacturer.
- Advising Integral Venture Partners on a number of debt and equity investments in Bulgaria, including the acquisition of a majority equity stake in Breaktime, the acquisition of a minority debt stake in Bulsatcom, and the acquisition of an equity stake in a local healthy food manufacturer, among others.
- Advising Beijing Sequoia Kun De Investment Limited Partnership on Bulgarian legal aspects of its indirect investment in a Bulgarian company that manufactures and sells a high-end fashion and accessories brand.
