Bansko municipality was on its way to select a company responsible for the planning of a ski zone close to Dobrinishte village. The value of first project phase is expected to reach 66 600 leva and it should be finalised by December 20, Dnevnik newspaper reported. Dobrinishte Ski Zone in its entirety should be completed within three years. The entire project costs 260 million leva. Both Bulgarian and foreign companies can apply for participation in the project. Candidates need to prove financial and technical capability to carry out the project. Offers will be examined on November 28, Dnevnik reported. The project envisions the setting up of ski tracks and infrastructure. Dobrinishte Ski Zone will be able to accommodate 10 000 tourists. It also envisions the creation of a spa centre. Dobrinishte is located close to Bansko, one of Bulgaria’s biggest winter resorts. As a result the price of property there is on the rise, agents said.
