Bulgartransgaz to invest EUR 26.7mn this year

 The gas transportation arm of the natural gas utility Bulgargaz, Bulgartransgaz, is planning to invest BGN 52.3mn (EUR 26.7mn) in business expansion this year. The plan envisages investments in new deposits, transit pipelines and possible construction of liquefied gas terminals. The company expects transport volumes to rise by 7.6% this year. As recalled, the natural gas utility Bulgargaz is transformed into a holding company as of this year. The holding has full ownership in three entities – Bulgartransgaz (system operator), Bulgargaz EAD (public supplier), and Bulgartel (telecom arm).
