Cabinet calls concession tender for Ruse airport

The cabinet launched yesterday a concession tender for the airport in the Danube city of Ruse . The contract will cover a period of up to 35 years. The airport has been used for military purposes in 1991-2000 and for cargo flights on specific occasions in the same period. The ownership was transferred to the transport ministry in 2005. Its idle passenger terminal could be reconstructed to service low-cost and cargo flights.
