The privatisation agency informs that Central Cooperative Bank (CCB) and Bulbrokers have won the competition for selecting an investment broker for the sale of the state stake in two subsidiaries of Czech power company CEZ and Austria’s EVN in Bulgaria. CCB will manage the sale of 63,624 shares or 33% of CEZ Razpredelenie Bulgaria and 1,650 shares or 33% of the capital of CEZ Electro Bulgaria. Bulbrokers will be the investment intermediary in the sale of 51,612 shares or 33% of EVN Bulgaria Elektrorazpredelenie and 62,106 shares or 33% of the capital of EVN Bulgaria Elektrosnabdiavane. The sale of the state stake will be executed through public offerings on the privatisation segment of the local stock exchange. EVN Bulgaria runs the power distribution network in south-east Bulgaria and services more than 1.5mn clients. CEZ Bulgaria runs the grids in western Bulgaria with population of above 2.9mn.
