DGKV has recently strengthened its team by welcoming three new Associates – Senior Associates Maya Mircheva and Dessislava Iordanova and Associate Patricia Cherkezova.  
Former Gugushev & Partners’ lawyer Maya Mircheva has joined the law firm as a key player in the firm's Real Estate & Construction and Litigation Practice Groups. She brings to DGKV extensive experience working with multinationals and key local economic operators, with particular expertise in real estate law, construction law, commercial law, and civil process. 
Dessislava Iordanova focuses her practice on competition law, IP law, IT law, public procurement and regulatory matters. As an experienced attorney, Dessislava shall significantly strengthen our capabilities advising clients on compliance projects in light of the Bulgarian legal framework. Prior to joining DGKV, she’s worked at two leading law firms and has accrued valuable 10 years’ practical experience at the Commission for Protection of Competition. 
Patricia Cherkezova, an alumnus of Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski, has further strengthened the firm's IP Group. She focuses her practice on consulting clients on a variety of cases requiring advice and assessment of IP infringements, cross-border transfers of IP rights and technology. Patricia holds a PhD degree in IP from Sofia University. She is an author of a number of publications and commentaries in the field of IP and employment law. She also has huge experience in consulting high-net-worth individuals on acquisition of Bulgarian citizenship by investment schemes.
