DGKV hosted one of the important events in the energy sector in the country – the second annual meeting of the Energy Law Group (ELG) in the period 27-29 October 2016. ELG is the largest network of legal experts in the field of energy and natural resources in Europe, Middle East and Africa. The forum in Sofia is part of the traditional annual meetings of the organization dedicated to the exchange of professional experience in the energy sector and discussions on the dynamic legal framework and constantly changing market conditions. ELG’s main meeting was held on 28 October in Grand Hotel Sofia, which allowed for direct professional contacts between the participants, briefing on the latest trends and developments in the regulatory framework and ideas to increase the collaboration within the organization. The event was officially opened by Mr. Thierry Lauriol – founder and chairman of the ELG. On behalf of the hosts a presentation was made by Mr. Milan Pandev, Partner and Head of the Energy & Utilities and Environment practices. DGKV was represented at the forum and by one of its name partners – Mr. George Gouginski.
