The event took place at Grand Hotel Millennium Sofia, Einstein Hall on February 22, 2024, 14:00 – 17:30h.

• Effectiveness of the Administrative Justice in Bulgaria.
DGKV's partner and Chair, AmCham Bulgaria Rule of Law and Legislative Reforms Committee, Omourtag Petkov, moderated the second panel, while DGKV’s partner and leader of AmCham Bulgaria Public Procurement Working Group, Anton Krustev, was a key participant in the second panel with a presentation on the subject of: “Administrative Justice in the Field of Public Procurement, Concessions, and European Funds under Shared Management - Problems and Possible Solutions.”
As a continuation of the Rule of Law improvement on business-related topics initiative, the American Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria together with the Association of the Bulgarian Administrative Judges (ABAJ, АБАС) organized a round table titled “Transformation: Administrative Justice for Citizens and Business”.
The goal of the discussion was to provide an update on the current development within administrative justice by its very practitioners, as well as to collect feedback and fair suggestions from various stakeholders on specific issues that could eliminate the bottlenecks of the administrative process and justice.
Other participants and panelists included judges from the Supreme Administrative Court of Bulgaria and prominent academics.
The event was upon invitation.
AmCham's members could have registered one person for in-person participation due to capacity of the venue.
The event was also streamed.
