The EBRD provided a senior EUR 10mn loan to Bulgaria's Black Sea city of Burgas for implementation of urban transport project, the bank said in a statement. The funds will be used for the purchase of buses, integrated ticketing system, upgrade of bus depot and stations and others. The loan will be used to co-finance a larger project, which is funded by the European regional Development Fund grants of up to EUR 47mn under the Operating Programme Regional Development.
