The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development will finance 90% of the construction of a radioactive storage house worth EUR 80-100mn. The project is designed to keep waste of low and average radioactivity originating from the local nuclear company in Kozloduy. The waste containment will be constructed by the state-owned company Radioactive Waste under the best safety standards.
