Financial holding Elana plans public offering by end of this year

The local financial institution Elana Financial Holding plans to launch shares on the local stock exchange in the second half of the year. The free-float of Elana is expected in the range between 15% and 25%. The public offering will support the growth of the holding and its expansion abroad. The consolidated net profit of Elana surged 180% to BGN 7.5mn (EUR 3.83mn) last year on a 50% increase in revenues to BGN 49.3mn. The company projects a 30% revenue hike this year but expects its net profit to flatten around its last year’s level or to improve only marginally. Elana Financial Holding comprises 4 investment companies and will set up two new companies this year to deal with agricultural land projects. Elana is one of the leading brokerage firms in the country and manages several asset management and special purpose funds floated on the local stock exchange.
