Gastrade, the main local importer of propane-butane with market share of 30%, is planning to invest more than EUR 25mn at the Beloslav Lake near Varna City at the northern Black Sea coast. Gastrade intends to construct a port and a liquid fuel storage house announced Milcho Vasilev, executive director of the company. The outset of the project, the biggest in Eastern Europe of its kind, is planned for April. The storage house will have a capacity of about 10,000 cubic meters of gas and 16,000 cubic meters of liquid fuels. The project execution will cause a decrease in the propane-butane price on domestic market of about 20% and will make the country more energy-independent as direct supply from the Near East and North Africa will be possible.
