Yassen Spassov, Senior Associate, joined an expert panel at the sixth expert discussion within the Energy Managers’ Forum discussing the transition from long-term contracts and feed-in tariffs to a liberalized electricity market in Bulgaria. His presentation focused on the integration goals, transition concept and how investors should be protected.
Other key speakers were Delyan Dobrev, Chairman of the Energy Committee in the National Assembly, Angela Toneva, “Regulatory and Administrative Issues” expert at the Institute for Energy Management, Martin Georgiev, Chairman of the Management Board of the Association of Traders with Electricity in Bulgaria (ATEB) and Boyan Karshakov, Chairman of the Managing Board of Hydroenergy Association. Moderator of the discussion was Konstantin Stamenov, Chairman Governor of the Bulgarian Federation of Industrial Energy Consumers (BFIEC).
