DGKV’s Associate Valery Blagoev notably represented the law firm and Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” at the 26th edition of one of the world’s largest and most prestigious international private law competitions – the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot (“the Moot”) held in Vienna, Austria in the period April 12th – 18th, 2019. Valery received an honorable mention for the Martin Domke award as one of the best individual oralists, the first Bulgarian participant in the history of the Competition to be granted such an honour.The Moot is an annual competition of teams representing law schools throughout the world. This year 378 teams from more than 85 countries took part in it. The competition is a simulation of an international commercial arbitration and this year it was held under the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre Administered Arbitration Rules (HKIAC).
