International Utilities Group mulls waste treatment investment
UK's International Utilities Group intends to invest about EUR 90-115mn in the south-western town of Kiustendil , the local administration reports. The company will construct a modern plant for electricity production out of liquid and solid households’ waste treatment. The installation for electricity production should be ready till mid-2009 and will open about 60-70 new jobs. The project may start only after the approval of the municipal council. International Utilities Group’s technology is based on European standards with 150 operation projects all over the world.
