Turkish textile producer Kivanc Textile is planning to invest USD 10mn in production of textile materials in Bulgaria next year, according to information revealed by the commercial unit of Turkey ’s embassy in the country. Cloth-producers Sarar Textile and Balizza are also considering the opportunities to start production activities in Bulgaria . FDI from Turkey have reportedly reached USD 700mn in the country (though only USD 250mn according to the official statistics) when investments through third countries added. The foreign trade turnover between the two countries has increased by 40% to EUR 3bn last year.
