Russia’s oil major Lukoil has opened 1.25 MW solar power park near the southern Black Sea city of Burgas, Dnevnik daily reported. The park is build on an area of 2.5 hectares. The produced energy will be sold on the local market at a price, fixed for a period of 12 years. The investment in the solar power park was for EUR 4mn. Lukoil owns the country’s oil refinery in Burgas Lukoil Neftochim and the petrol retailer Lukoil Bulgaria.
