Traditional providers of financial services are facing increasing disruption as telecoms and technology service providers establish new fintech platforms that have direct reach to their customers. Violetta Kunze, Partner and Head the law firm’s Telecom and Media Practice, was entrusted to co-chair a special panel dedicated to key developments an overview of the major stakeholders and best practices in fintechs at the IBA Annual Conference in Seoul 2019. Organised by several committees of the International Bar Association, the event shall bring together leading lawyers and TMT experts to explore current trends and debate the hottest issues in mobile payments. They shall analyse the driving forces and the hurdles for achieving a cashless ecosystem and acknowledge whether the regulation is adequate for the state of innovation.
