The Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition is the oldest and largest international moot competition in the world, attracting participants from over 645 law schools in 95 countries in recent years. The competition has been described as the most prestigious moot court competition in the world by a large number of organisations and universities internationally. The competition represents a simulation of a fictional dispute between countries before the International Court of Justice, the judicial organ of the United Nations. Each team prepares oral and written pleadings arguing both the applicant and respondent positions of the case.
We at DGKV believe that by taking part in the Jessup Competition, students develop skills they shall use throughout their careers. Good job, Valery!
