The privatisation agency has called a new tender for the sale of the full stake of the coal-fired power plant in the western town of Bobov Dol , a note on the website of the agency reads. The initial tender price is set at BGN 100mn (EUR 51.1mn). The agency has divided potential bidders in three groups: (1) strategic investor which has produced and sold at least 5 TWh in each of the last three years, possessing capital in the tune of EUR 1bn and holding long-term credit rating of A- assigned by S&P or Fitch or A3 from Moody’s; (2)local coal extraction companies or suppliers with total turnover of 1.25mn tons of coal in the last three years and (3) consortiums in which 51% of the capital is held by local extractors or suppliers with total turnover of 3mn tons of coal in the last three years. Offshore companies or firms of overdue liabilities to the state or state companies are not allowed to participate.
