Privatisation agency to sell minority stakes in power distributors by year-end

The privatisation agency expects to sell the minority state stakes in the three power distributors in the country, majority controlled by Czech CEZ, Germany’s E.ON and Austria’s EVN, in November-December this year, the chief of the privatisation agency Emil Karanikolov said for mediapool.bg. The state plans to sell its 33% stakes in the companies through public offering on the privatisation segment of the local stock exchange. First Financial Brokerage House, Central Cooperative Bank and Bulbrokers were selected to consult the sale of the state-owned stakes in the local subsidiaries of E.ON, CEZ and EVN, respectively.
