International Fair Plovdiv plans to invest more than EUR 100mn in reconstruction of existing facilities and in building new ones in five years. The investment includes construction of five-floor trade area, new exhibition areas and a 5-star hotel as well as the completion of the seven-floor parking building. EU structural funds and bank loans are planned to finance the project. The National Credit Rating Agency, an affiliate of Moody’s, is expected to assign credit rating to International Fair Plovdiv in less than a month. International Fair Plovdiv, located on area of 352,000 square metres in country’s second largest city of Plovdiv , is the biggest exhibition site on the Balkans. The company is member of the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry.
