Royal Dutch Shell has signed a draft contract for selling out its LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) distribution business in 6 countries to the French company Rubis at the price of EUR 90mn. The deal covers Bulgaria , Czech Rep, Germany , Romania , Spain , and Switzerland . The deal would be completed by the end of June after confirmation by the line antitrust authorities. Rubis will become the second largest LPG distributor in Europe after the takeover. The local management of Shell informed that the company will continue to expand its network of fuel stations in the country despite its withdrawal from the LPG segment.
