Austria’s Sparkassen Immobilien, part of Erste Bank, is to invest EUR 200mn to EUR 300mn in local trade and office areas in two to three years. Sparkassen Immobilien is planning to sell properties in Germany , Austria and the Czech Republic to finance its regional investment programme valued at EUR 1bn. The investor sees Bulgaria and Romania as priority markets. The company is already working on few projects in the country – EUR 210mn trade centre Serdika in cooperation with another member of the Erste Bank Group Immorent, and Germany ’s ECE Projektmanagement; two office projects and a residential complex, all located in the capital city Sofia .
