DGKV's partner Angel Ganev was appointed as a Reporter for Bulgaria in a project assigned to Brunel Centre for the Study of Arbitration and Cross-Border Investment. The study, commissioned by the European Parliament (IP/C/JURI/IC/2013-047), is to undertake and present a research on arbitration across the European Union and Switzerland. It will address arbitration in its main forms (commercial, consumer, online, investment), and will focus on both the formal regulatory structure in which arbitration operates in every Member State of the EU and Switzerland, as well as the realities of arbitral practice in same States. Further, it will address measures taken at the EU level regarding arbitration (including investment arbitration), and discuss potential future measures. The study is due in late 2014.
