The municipality of the northern city of Targovishte will invest EUR 20mn in the water supply network of 17 villages in the region and repairing of the waste water pipes and 90% of the water supply pipes of the city. A World Bank loan would secure EUR 8mn of the financing while the other part would come from the EU cohesion fund.The project is expected to improve the quality of the water supply and to lower water losses.
