Transport ministry calls concession tender for Danube port terminal

The transport ministry plans to call a concession tender for the Danube port terminal of Lom. The duration of the concession contract is set at 35 years. The concessionaire should invest a total of BGN 66mn (EUR 33.7mn) during the concession period, some 45% of which must be spent in the first four years. The concessionaire will get the right to process cargo and post packages and to service passengers. A supplementary clause provides for partial expansion and partial repair of the facility.
