The transport ministry plans to invest a total of EUR 145mn in the construction of two container terminals at two Black Sea ports in Varna and Burgas. The projects are motivated by increased container cargos in the last five years. The Japan Bank for International Cooperation will provide the financing. Field works will start next year and will open 450 and 550 jobs in Burgas and Varna respectively.
