Via Properties to invest over EUR 102mn in new glass plants

 The local company Via Properties plans to invest more than BGN 200mn (EUR 102mn) in the construction of 10 new plants for production of flat glass, porcelain, glass packages and construction materials in the northern town of Razgrad, the governor of the region Nasko Atanasov announced. Via properties plans to work in cooperation with two China companies, including the biggest China producer of porcelain Globe China, and the Italian Cicici. The company intends to apply for first class investment certificate, which grants preferential access to administrative services. Two months ago, Via Properties acquired the glass-maker Diamant, located also in Razgrad, for BGN 8.13mn. The buyer plans to invest more than EUR 50mn in order to renovate the plant, which will produce flat glass, household glass, ornamented glass, water glass, as well as china for the households.
