One of the interesting changes in the regulatory framework are the amendments to Ordinance H-18 which deals with the registration and reporting of sales made through fiscal devices, as well as with the requirements applicable for the software for their management and for the persons who trade through electronic shops. However, it appears that the measures that are being introduced and planned for the future do not coincide with the actual market situation and expectations.
Associate Lena Borislavova was a speaker at the “Ordinance No. H-18: Legal and Practical Issues for the Business” practical seminar. The joint event was organised by DGKV and the software company Step Soft in collaboration with the National Revenue Agency and was held on July 5, 2019 in Sofia, Bulgaria. It brought together representatives of Bulgarian companies to guide them through the new regulation for cash payments. Lena presented a structured guide to the latest implemented and still planned amendments to Ordinance H-18 and advised on important deadlines and relevant approaches to overcome significant pitfalls in being compliant to the new rules. On the other hand, Pasko Paskov from Step Soft clarified which software systems are affected by Ordinance H-18 and what is the deadline for bringing your software and sales reporting in line with the new rules. The loads of questions from the audience were addressed by the reputable representative of the National Revenue Agency Rossen Bachvarov.
