Georgi Gruev is an Associate at DGKV and part of the firm’s Real Estate & Construction and Banking & Financing practices. He joined DGKV as a trainee in 2024. Georgi is engaged in drafting real estate, corporate, and investment-related contracts, handling M&A, real estate transactions, project-and-acquisition financing, and advising on corporate governance matters, real estate regulations and commercial leasing.
Georgi obtained his Master’s Degree in Law from Sofia University, Bulgaria. During his education, he participated in prestigious competitions in civil and commercial law, where his team won the first place in the country in 2025.
Recent representative projects include:
- Part of the team advising the American University in Bulgaria in relation to the development of new student housing at the American University in Bulgaria.
- Key role in the team advising a Greek Investment Fund on the sale of its shares in Challenger Development, including coordinating and organizing due diligence documentation submitted to the buyer, drafting and reviewing corporate and other auxiliary documentation for the share sale transaction.
- Assisting VMware Inc. in concluding a lease agreement for its new 30,000 square meter office in Bulgaria.
- Advising Boleron AD on the convening of general meetings of shareholders and assisting in the drafting of related documents and other general corporate matters.
