DGKV's Private Equity team provided comprehensive legal advice to Podemcrane AD, one of the world's leading suppliers of crane components and a successor to the former state-owned manufacturing company Podem, in connection with a strategic cross-border investment.

DGKV's legal assistance covered the negotiation process and preparation of the letter of intent, drafting of the investment and shareholders' agreement, and legal support throughout the closing process.

The transaction involved an equity investment in Misia Paranchi Srl, a prominent Milan-based manufacturer of a wide range of hoists and a longstanding strategic partner of Podemcrane AD. The deal encompassed the corporate reorganization of Misia Paranchi Srl, followed by Podemcrane AD's acquisition of an equity stake through the direct subscription of shares.

The deal seeks to establish solid foundation for long-term cross-border cooperation between both manufacturers. The transaction also reflects the growing trend of outbound private equity investments by Bulgarian companies and investors.
