DGKV has been named Bulgaria Firm of the Year at the Benchmark Litigation Europe Awards 2026, recognising its Dispute Resolution practice, led by Partner Angel Ganev.

The award was announced at the ceremony on 24 September 2026 at The Waldorf Hilton London, where leading litigation and arbitration firms and practitioners from across Europe gathered to celebrate the year’s outstanding achievements.

The award recognises the team’s work on complex and high-value domestic and international litigation and arbitration matters. Benchmark Litigation’s 2026 awards followed extensive research into Europe’s most impactful litigation and arbitration cases, client feedback and practitioner interviews.

As Partner and Head of Dispute Resolution, Angel Ganev leads the practice and plays a central role in developing case strategy and representing clients in the firm’s most significant disputes. His expertise is regularly recognised by leading international legal directories, including Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners.

Under his leadership, DGKV’s Dispute Resolution team advises and represents clients across a broad range of civil, commercial and administrative litigation and domestic and international arbitration proceedings, including complex cross-border disputes and proceedings before international arbitral tribunals and the Court of Justice of the European Union.
