DGKV's Dispute Resolution partner Gergana Monovska participated in an interesting and insightful panel discussion last Friday (8 December 2023) during an event organized by the Deutsche Institution für Schiedsgerichtsbarkeit e.V. (DIS) German Arbitration Institute.

Together with her two fellow panellists, Assen Alexiev and Emil Emanuilov, she discussed the efficiency enhancing mechanisms within DIS Arbitration Rules.

This is the first event of DIS (German Arbitration Institute) in Bulgaria. It was hosted and moderated by Dr. Ramona Schardt LL.M. (UVA), General Secretary of DIS e.V., Evgenia Peiffer, Counsel at CMS Hasche Sigle (Dispute Resolution), Ivan Petrov LL.M. (Humboldt), Counsel at DIS. They introduced DIS (German Arbitration Institute), the DIS Arbitration Rules and the DIS Case Management and discussed the advantages of Germany as place for arbitration.

The event was held under the patronage of the German Embassador to Bulgaria Irene Maria Plank.
