Anton Krustev is a Partner at Djingov, Gouginski, Kyutchukov and Velichkov, dealing primarily with public-private partnerships, public procurement, concessions, and European Structural Investment Funds projects. Anton joined DGKV as an associate in 2007. He has acted for both public and private sector clients in both litigation and M&A projects and is especially experienced in the transport & infrastructure and energy and Water Supply and Sewerage sectors. Indeed, he has extensive expertise in energy and utilities, including in power-generation, distribution, trade-in-electricity-and-gas, transportation-of-oil-and-gas, and new-power-facility-construction matters, and has led an impressive number of projects in the transport sector related to infrastructure, such as the tender procedure for the Sofia Airport concession and numerous projects related to the rehabilitation of the railway infrastructure, among others.
Recent representative projects include:
- Advising ContourGlobal on the acquisition of Enel’s 908 MW lignite-fired thermal-power plant.
- Advising one of the bidders on the Sofia Airport concession extensive tender process, which involved an approximately EUR 3.898 billion indicative project budget.
- Advising Hitachi Solutions Co. Ltd. on the Bulgarian-law and M&A aspects of its acquisition of ABB Power Grids business.
- Assisting General Electric International Inc. with its participation in numerous public procurement procedures and advising it on European Structural Investment Funds aspects of tenders.
